Key Responsibilities:
- Inspire and Lead: Manage and mentor a team of tech support professionals, setting schedules, leading by example, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Drive Excellence: Implement and uphold best practices in our call center, ensuring top-tier service delivery at every level.
- Innovate and Improve: Identify opportunities for enhancement in processes and technology, presenting innovative solutions to management.
- Operational Oversight: Approve timesheets, oversee on-call rotations, and ensure seamless technical support operations.
- Training and Development: Lead the charge in training initiatives, equipping your team with the skills and knowledge they need to excel.
- Document and Optimize: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, from operation manuals to troubleshooting guides, to streamline workflows and ensure consistency.
- Collaborate and Solve: Work closely with management and project teams to analyze trends, tackle new technology challenges, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Technical Expertise: Dive into troubleshooting complex issues across networking, hardware, and software, acting as the final escalation point before management.
- Client-Focused Training: Deliver impactful training sessions to clients, both online and in-person, to maximize their system's potential.
- Be the Backup: Step in as a backup for on-call team members when needed, ensuring no issue goes unresolved.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of LAN and Operating Systems.
- 5+ years in Technical Support, Customer Service, or Help Desk roles.
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity within a technical support environment.
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems and peripherals (e.g., barcode scanners, receipt printers) is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
