The Senior Accounts Payable and Inventory Control Manager will be responsible for ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timely processing of invoices and overseeing efficient operations of the Inventory Control Department. Manages Accounts Payable (AP) team to ensure timely payments to suppliers and resolves discrepancies. Implements inventory management procedures and collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory capabilities.

Manages Accounts Payable (AP) team to ensure timely payments to suppliers and resolves discrepancies. Implements inventory management procedures and collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory capabilities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable:
- Supervise AP Manager/team and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
- Resolve discrepancies and perform research for issue resolution.
- Develop and enhance processes for accurate payment documentation.
- Manage AP month-end closing, reconciliation, and support to the General Ledger.
- Implement controls to reduce risks and perform AP-related analysis.
- Collaborate with the Treasury Manager for accurate cash forecasting.
- Identify efficiencies and process improvements.
Inventory Control Management:
- Implement policies and procedures for efficient inventory management.
- Assist with inventory planning, forecasting, and control operations.
- Utilize tools and systems for inventory tracking, analysis, and reporting.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize inventory capabilities.
- Manage Aged Inventory reporting and reconciliation of Consignment vendor accounts.
- Ensure timely execution and reconciliation of Physical Inventories.
- Reconcile Inventory and AP GL accounts.
Technical:
- Implement controls to reduce risks and stay updated on emerging trends.
- Advise management on business impact and draft accounting policies.
- Guide on technical accounting issues.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- BBA in Finance or Accounting.
- CPA required with Big 4 experience preferred.
- 3-5 years of public accounting with strong internal controls and financial reporting knowledge.
- 3-5 years of inventory management experience, preferably in retail.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Self-motivated with proven problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in US GAAP and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to coordinate between departments and prioritize tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport.
- Thorough understanding of US GAAP and documentation skills.
Decision Making:
- Makes operating decisions and participates in strategy development.
- Requires problem-solving ability based on the complex nature of problems.
Travel Requirements:
- Less than 10% travel required.
Other:
- Flexibility in hours permitted, with core hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Mon-Fri.
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
