Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and coordinate a high-impact regional networking project involving Cisco ACI and Cisco Nexus technologies. This role, based in Miami, will oversee all project activities across Miami and São Paulo, ensuring seamless collaboration between multiple teams and successful project execution.
The Senior Project Manager will interact with key stakeholders, including technology providers, facilities teams, and operations teams across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management expertise, technical understanding of LAN networking technologies, and excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the implementation of Cisco ACI and Cisco Nexus technologies for a regional data center project.
- Coordinate and align project activities across Miami and São Paulo, ensuring timely and successful execution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact, collaborating with Cisco Spain’s team for logical configuration and migration tasks.
- Liaise with facilities teams at both data centers to ensure operational readiness and compliance.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with the existing operations teams in Miami and São Paulo.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, addressing any risks or challenges proactively.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Project Management Expertise: Proven experience managing complex regional or international IT/networking projects.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with LAN technologies, specifically Cisco ACI and Cisco Nexus.
- Languages: Fluency in English and Spanish required; Portuguese is desirable but not mandatory.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams, including technology providers, operations, and facilities teams.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to ensure clear project updates and alignment.
- Certifications (Preferred): PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials.
