We’re looking for a Senior Power BI Developer for a CONTRACT oppportunity with strong accounting expertise to drive data visualization and financial reporting excellence. What You’ll Do:
✅ Design & Develop: Create and maintain complex Power BI dashboards and reports tailored for financial analysis.
✅ Collaborate & Analyze: Work closely with accounting, finance, and data teams to transform raw data into insightful reports.
✅ Ensure Data Accuracy: Validate and reconcile financial data for precision and integrity.
✅ Optimize Performance: Enhance Power BI models for scalability and efficiency.
✅ Data Security & Compliance: Implement security measures and best practices in BI development.
✅ Train & Support: Provide guidance to end-users to maximize Power BI adoption.
✅ Stay Ahead: Keep up with the latest Power BI, Excel, SQL, and accounting standards.
✅ Engage in Agile Development: Participate in EPIC planning and execution for continuous improvement.
What You Need to Succeed:
? Work Authorization: US Citizen, Green Card Holder, or Authorized to Work in the U.S.
? Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
? Experience: 3+ years in BI development with an accounting or finance focus.
? Technical Proficiency:
✔ Power BI, DAX, Microsoft BI Stack (SSAS, SSRS, Power BI)
✔ SQL for data extraction, transformation, and ETL processes
✔ Data visualization & analytics best practices
✔ Ability to work with various data sources (SQL Server, Excel, Flat Files, Analysis Services)
? Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have! ?)
✨ Experience with Power BI AI/ML features (anomaly detection, forecasting, clustering).
✨ Familiarity with Agile methodologies (EPIC framework).
