Senior Director of Development – Hybrid (Miami, FL)
Location: Miami, Florida (Hybrid schedule: ~2 days remote, 3 days on-site)
Salary Range: $90,000 – $105,000 annually

In this leadership role, you’ll develop meaningful relationships with major donors to drive initiatives that improve educational access, financial security, and healthcare equity across the region.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and grow a portfolio of major gift prospects—individuals with capacities of $10,000+
- Develop and execute personalized cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies
- Lead one-on-one donor meetings, site visits, and engagement events to deepen commitment
- Track and maintain donor activity in CRM for pipeline visibility and data integrity
- Identify, engage, and qualify new prospects through creative outreach—including peer referrals and events
- Collaborate with internal teams to align donor interests with compelling programmatic storytelling
- Lead preparation of proposals and presentations aimed at securing major gifts
- Shape the organization’s major gift strategy and contribute to annual revenue goal setting
- Analyze donor segmentation to identify trends, upgrade potential, and gaps in funding
