Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Accountant who excels at managing financial records, guiding business decisions, and streamlining processes. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring financial accuracy, supporting growth initiatives, and driving operational efficiency. What You’ll Do:
- Lead month-end and year-end closing, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
- Analyze balance sheets and general ledger accounts, providing critical insights to support business strategies
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and take on exciting special projects
- Post and adjust journal entries to maintain accuracy and financial health
- Reconcile accounts receivable and control accounts, optimizing cash flow
- Perform GL account analysis and manage monthly transactions
- Safeguard financial data through effective controls and regular database backups
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations at the local, state, and federal levels
- Mentor junior accountants, fostering growth and expertise within the team
- Play a key role in the One Wash Program, managing sales, rebate accruals, and audits
- Continuously improve accounting workflows and procedures to enhance efficiency
- Take on new challenges and contribute to various projects as needed
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance required; CPA/CMA credentials are a plus
- 5+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on manufacturing preferred
- Strong knowledge of ERP manufacturing systems and advanced Excel skills
- Experience in the manufacturing sector is highly desirable
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
