Your Role:
As a Security Analyst, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining security platforms. You will be responsible for auditing, documenting, and optimizing security environments while providing governance expertise for our Managed Security Services team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with industry-leading firewall platforms such as Palo Alto and Check Point, contributing to security infrastructure evolution, automation, and risk mitigation strategies.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage and support high-availability security environments, including firewalls, VPNs, and SIEM solutions.
- Assess security risks and recommend mitigation strategies to meet business, regulatory, and industry best practices.
- Assist in security infrastructure migration projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Use monitoring tools to ensure compliance with contracted service levels.
- Perform system audits, backups, and automation tasks to enhance security processes.
- Troubleshoot security incidents and change requests via Remedy.
- Provide technical support for projects, system patches, and updates.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation, procedures, and training manuals.
- Participate in on-call support rotations and after-hours maintenance as needed.
What You Bring:
- 2+ years of experience working with Palo Alto or Check Point security platforms.
- Previous experience working on large scale migrations and implementations.
- Strong understanding of network security, VPNs, and SIEM solutions.
- At least one of the following certifications:
- Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (PCNSA)
- Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
- Preferred: Cisco CCNP Security certification.
- Knowledge of local area networking (LAN) principles, Linux/Unix, and Windows systems.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and optimize security systems.
