SVP OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly strategic and results-driven SVP, Operations Director to lead and optimize business operations across the Florida region. This executive role will drive operational excellence, enhance internal controls, and align regional processes with corporate strategy to ensure long-term business growth.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will develop and execute operational strategies, oversee business performance, and drive efficiency through data-driven decision-making. You will lead cross-functional teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of high performance, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Execution
- Define and implement the regional operations strategy in alignment with corporate objectives.
- Drive operational integration, ensuring a seamless transition to corporate systems, policies, and procedures.
- Develop and execute a three-year strategic plan to enhance regional efficiency, risk management, and compliance.
- Establish and track KPIs and scorecards to monitor productivity, effectiveness, and operational excellence.
- Lead cross-functional teams, prioritizing initiatives that drive sustainable business growth.
Operations & Performance Management
- Oversee loan and deposit operations, ensuring compliance with operational and regulatory standards.
- Enhance business processes through root cause analysis, performance assessments, and restructuring initiatives.
- Ensure financial controls, SOX compliance, and risk management frameworks are effectively implemented.
- Lead the development and implementation of policies and procedures to strengthen operational controls.
Talent & Change Management
- Direct human resources integration, aligning talent strategies with organizational needs.
- Foster a high-performance culture with strong employee engagement, performance management, and leadership development.
- Implement change management initiatives to drive innovation and operational improvements.
Regulatory & Risk Oversight
- Oversee compliance with BSA, anti-money laundering laws, mortgage banking regulations, and overall risk management.
- Lead business continuity planning, vendor management, and regulatory compliance efforts.
- Ensure robust second-line quality assurance for all regional operations.
What You Bring:
- 15+ years of senior leadership experience in operations, financial services, or corporate strategy.
- Proven track record of driving operational transformation and managing large-scale business initiatives.
- Expertise in risk management, regulatory compliance, and financial controls.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a focus on data-driven performance improvement.
- Exceptional leadership and change management capabilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
