We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Progress Note Reviewer to join our team at a leading healthcare organization specializing in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) supplies. This full-time role involves reviewing medical documentation to ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and insurance requirements. If you have a strong understanding of medical terminology, analytical skills, and a passion for supporting quality healthcare, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze medical documentation, including progress notes, lab reports, prescriptions, and provider visit notes, to ensure compliance with Medicare and PPO insurance guidelines.
Verify clinical sufficiency and accuracy of documentation for CGM supplies and other medical equipment.
Identify gaps or discrepancies in submitted documentation and collaborate with healthcare providers to secure corrections or additional details.
Maintain clear, accessible records of required information for insurance claims processing.
Provide constructive feedback and training to healthcare providers on documentation standards and compliance best practices.
Prioritize and process expedited cases within defined timelines.
Qualifications
Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting progress notes and medical prescriptions.
Strong understanding of medical terminology, clinical guidelines, and insurance requirements.
Analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
Work Schedule & Compensation
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 8:30 AM–5:00 PM.
Location: In-office.
Salary: $19–$21 per hour, based on experience.
