Great opportunity for a bilingual (Engllish/Spanish) Pre Sales Engineer to work for a great company in Miami. This individual will collaborate with Sales Teams to produce technical, architectural, and engineering deliverables that lead to uncovering opportunities and booking profitable sales. Deliverables include needs analysis, requirements, architecture diagrams, high level designs, detail specifications, Project management, technical presentations and RFP responses. This role is highly influential in leading customer to make purchasing decisions based upon technical analysis communicating effectively with executive management level down and establish/maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.


  • Generate customer price quotations and develop product promotions
  • Aggregating customer’s technical requirements directly through Sales, or through a customer conference meeting, and designing a solution around these technical requirements for service implementation, understanding customer’s existing network, key locations and technical needs
  • Responsible for all technical content of the proposal process, including RFI, RFQ and RFP responses and technical designs
  • Designs complex voice and data network solutions for customer applications, including preparation of network topologies and technical specifications
  • Clearly communicates the customer design to the teams responsible for ordering, implementation and ongoing support
  • Leads internal cross-functional teams to obtain required approvals of non-standard designs for customers
  • Builds relationships with customers serving as the technical liaison from pre-sales to post-sales
  • Responsible for growing strategic product sales and revenue through proactive engagement with customers
  • Responsible for ensuring that all the necessary internal and external steps have been taken and engage in the communication with the customer for status as well as ensuring that internal troubleshooting and escalation procedures have been followed


Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a sales engineering position within the telecommunications field
  • Demonstrated expert knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, including IPVPN, MPLS, MEF Carrier Class Ethernet Networks, DWDM Wavelengths and SONET digital hierarchy. SIP Trunk and Unified Communications knowledge.
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish)
  • CCNA or equivalent experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Spanish, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Advance MS Office required
