Position Overview
The Personal Injury Pre-Suit Attorney will manage cases from intake through pre-litigation resolution, advocating for injured clients while working closely with case managers, medical providers, and insurance carriers.
This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent client communication, and the ability to manage a busy caseload efficiently while maintaining high-quality client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of approximately 80–100 personal injury pre-suit cases
- Conduct case evaluations and client consultations
- Review medical records, accident reports, and supporting documentation
- Prepare and submit demand packages to insurance carriers
- Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters
- Communicate regularly with clients, medical providers, and case managers
- Provide direction and guidance to assigned case managers/paralegals
- Maintain organized case documentation and ensure deadlines are met
- Prepare files for litigation when necessary
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar
- 1–2 years of Personal Injury experience required
- Familiarity with personal injury pre-suit case management
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Team-oriented with a client-focused mindset
