Manufacturing Supervisor (Rotating Shifts)
Location: Opa-locka / Hialeah, FL
Compensation: Up to $80,000 annually (based on experience)
Schedule: Rotating shifts required
Language Requirement: Bilingual – English & Spanish (required)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee daily production operations in a fast-paced, schedule-driven manufacturing environment. This role reports to the Manufacturing Manager and is responsible for supervising production staff, ensuring quality standards, and driving efficient manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a team-oriented setting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations on the manufacturing floor
Coordinate, plan, and supervise production activities to meet schedules and output goals
Ensure efficient production with a strong focus on quality standards
Conduct routine quality checks to ensure work meets company requirements
Supervise assigned personnel and provide clear written and verbal instructions
Monitor departmental and individual performance and provide feedback, coaching, and corrective action when necessary
Train, mentor, and lead new and existing manufacturing associates
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and established systems
Perform production associate duties as needed
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Associate degree from a two-year college or university or three to five years of related manufacturing experience and/or training
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
Required Skills and Abilities
Bilingual in English and Spanish (speak, read, and write)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Highly organized with excellent time management abilities
Computer literacy with the ability to quickly learn new software
Preferred Qualifications
ISO and GMP experience
Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience
Work Environment
Fast-paced manufacturing environment
Hands-on supervisory role
Rotating shift schedule required
