Facility Maintenance Team Member

Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Facility Maintenance Team Member to support building cleanliness and maintenance operations. This role requires hands-on experience in facility upkeep and a proactive attitude toward ensuring a safe, clean, and organized environment.
The ideal candidate will have previous custodial experience and the ability to maintain both the interior and exterior of a property, including preparing facilities for events and reporting maintenance discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general cleaning duties: sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, shampooing carpets, window cleaning, and trash removal
Monitor and maintain sanitary supply levels for assigned areas
Safely use and maintain cleaning equipment, following OSHA guidelines for chemical handling
Set up and break down rooms for meetings and events (e.g., moving tables, chairs, decorations)
Inspect assigned areas and report any maintenance or cleanliness issues
Maintain friendly and professional communication with all staff and visitors
Adhere strictly to all safety and security protocols
Respond promptly to emergency cleaning tasks
Maintain assigned equipment in good working condition
Clean and sanitize restrooms: replenish supplies, clean fixtures, and report maintenance issues
Complete assigned work orders daily and perform other duties as needed
Requirements
High school diploma or GED preferred
1–2 years of custodial/maintenance experience required
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Customer-focused mindset and commitment to workplace safety
