Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join our school community. In this role, you will nurture the growth of young learners by creating a dynamic, engaging, and supportive classroom environment. You will use creative teaching methods to foster both academic and social development, preparing students for their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons that promote critical thinking, creativity, and a love for learning.
- Use a variety of instructional strategies, including hands-on activities, interactive technology, and group discussions.
- Assess and track student progress through observations, formal assessments, and feedback.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom culture where every student feels safe, valued, and supported.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, support staff, and administration to meet the diverse needs of each student.
- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Ensure compliance with state educational standards and school policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field.
- Valid Florida teaching certification (or Statement of Eligibility).
- Experience in early childhood education preferred, but new teachers with a passion for early learning are encouraged to apply.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enthusiasm for fostering a love of learning in young children.
