Position: Inventory Analyst
Location: Medley, FL
Department: Purchasing
Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Analyst to maintain optimal stock levels and drive inventory efficiency. This position will play a crucial role in forecasting demand, analyzing inventory trends, and ensuring seamless inventory flow in collaboration with various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Continuously monitor and track inventory levels to avoid stockouts or overstock situations.
- Data Analysis: Use analytics tools to identify inventory patterns, slow-moving stock, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Demand Forecasting: Analyze historical sales data and collaborate with sales and operations teams to forecast future inventory needs.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, warehouse, and logistics to ensure smooth and efficient inventory processes.
- Reporting: Generate detailed inventory reports, offering insights to optimize stock levels and align with customer demand.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Logistics, or related field.
- Strong proficiency in inventory management software (SAGE, SAP, Macola) and data analysis tools like Excel or SQL.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail in working with large datasets.
Key Skills:
- Expertise in inventory control and demand forecasting.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting to drive inventory decisions.
- Proficiency in supply chain and inventory management software.
