Position Title: Cybersecurity Engineer
Location: Miami, FL
Contract Duration: 12 months with possibility of extension
Pay Rate: Up to $76,000 annually (depending on experience)

In this role, you’ll design, implement, and manage enterprise-grade security solutions while helping modernize legacy infrastructure and adopt cutting-edge security technologies.
What You’ll Do
You’ll play a key role in ensuring the integrity and resilience of enterprise environments by:
Architecting, deploying, and managing security solutions across cloud and on-premises environments.
Monitoring, analyzing, and responding to incidents using SOC tools and methodologies.
Conducting vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and driving remediation.
Leading or participating in security audits and compliance assessments.
Supporting migration and integration of legacy systems into modern security platforms.
Integrating security controls into network, endpoint, and cloud infrastructures.
Collaborating with IT, DevOps, and business teams to align security with operational goals.
Developing and maintaining security policies, procedures, and documentation.
Participating in threat intelligence initiatives and delivering security awareness training.
Staying current with emerging threats, technologies, and compliance standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
3+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles (SOC, security engineering, or consulting).
Hands-on experience with multi-vendor environments (Check Point, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Cisco).
At least one of the following certifications is required:
Check Point: Maestro, CCAS, CCES, CCME, CCTE, CCVS, CCSM
Palo Alto Networks: PCNSE, PCNSC, PSE-P Endpoint, ACE
The following certifications are preferred:
Fortinet: NSE4, NSE5, NSE7
Cisco: CCNA Security, CCNA Exploration
Strong understanding of network, endpoint, and cloud security principles.
Experience in SOC operations, incident response, and vulnerability management.
Proficiency in English and Spanish required.
Preferred Skills
Experience with security architecture and project management.
Familiarity with large enterprise or public sector environments.
Security automation and scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
Working knowledge of compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or GDPR.
Experience with Big Data Analytics is a plus.
Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Adaptability and enthusiasm for learning new technologies.
