About the Role:
Our client is a renowned aviation company specializing in Facility Services within the aviation industry.
As the General Manager of our Facility Service Division, you will lead and drive the strategic direction of our facility service operations. You will oversee pricing strategies, RFP development, and P&L management, and play a key role in ensuring the continued excellence of our services. Your leadership will be instrumental in our company's success and growth within the aviation industry.
Leadership: We are seeking a proven leader with a track record of managing similar roles within airlines or ground handlers.
Experience: The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in ground handling, with a deep understanding of its intricacies and relevance to this role.
Technical Expertise: The General Manager must possess a comprehensive grasp of airport service pricing for ground handlers, proficiency in constructing Request for Proposals (RFPs) from a ground handler perspective, a strong understanding of Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, manpower hour calculations, and the ability to effectively present RFPs.
Systems: While no specific system is required for RFPs, proficiency in advanced Excel is essential for success in this role.
Language Skills: Fluency in both English and Spanish, including reading and writing, is a prerequisite.
Travel: The role demands 20% to 30% travel to various locations as operational needs dictate.
Education: A Bachelor's degree or higher educational qualification is mandatory.
