Location: Florida (Hybrid after 90-Day Orientation)

Job Summary:
As a General Liability Adjuster, you will play a critical role in managing and resolving a variety of general liability claims, with a particular emphasis on cases involving medical malpractice and other complex scenarios. This position requires a meticulous approach to investigation, evaluation, and negotiation to ensure fair and timely settlements. Key Responsibilities:
- Claim Management: Investigate, evaluate, and adjust general liability claims, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Policy Review: Analyze insurance policies to determine coverage, liability, and claim validity.
- Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations, including reviewing medical records, interviewing witnesses, and collaborating with legal and medical experts.
- Negotiation: Engage in settlement negotiations, ensuring that all agreements are fair, compliant, and in the best interest of the company.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate claim files, including all communications, reports, and settlement documentation.
- Communication: Provide clear and concise communication with all parties involved, including policyholders, legal teams, and medical professionals.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience handling general liability claims, with a preference for experience in medical malpractice.
- Skills: Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Proficiency in claims management software is essential.
- Licensure: 620 Adjuster License is required.
- Adaptability: Ability to manage a diverse caseload in a high-pressure environment, with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving results.
Work Environment:
- Orientation: The role begins with a 90-day orientation period in our office to familiarize you with our processes and team.
- Hybrid Work: After the orientation, you will transition to a hybrid work model, combining office and remote work for flexibility and work-life balance.
