Certified School Teachers (K-5) – First Grade Teacher
Location: North Lauderdale, FL
Full-Time Position | 2024-2025 School Year
Are you a certified teacher passionate about helping young learners grow and succeed? We're seeking dynamic and dedicated Certified School Teachers for K-5 (First Grade) to join a vibrant educational community. This role focuses on delivering engaging, research-based instruction that meets the individual needs of students while fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement effective educational instruction aligned with state standards and best practices.
- Administer and analyze student assessments to guide instruction and ensure mastery of objectives.
- Provide timely feedback to students, adjusting teaching methods as necessary to support student success.
- Collaborate regularly with parents, guardians, and fellow educators to optimize student outcomes.
- Modify educational plans as needed to accommodate diverse learning needs.
- Maintain open communication with school staff to ensure cohesive student support.
- Utilize effective classroom management and preventive discipline strategies.
- Serve as a role model by demonstrating strong character and leadership, helping students develop both academically and socially.
- Complete required administrative duties and reports efficiently.
- Continuously engage in professional development to stay informed on best practices in education.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required.
- Florida State Certification or Statement of Eligibility is required. Endorsements in assigned teaching area preferred.
- Pre-service experience or equivalent required for certification.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- In-depth understanding of student learning styles and educational methodologies.
- Proficient in technology, including word processing, database management, and instructional tools.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in challenging situations.
- Culturally responsive and able to work effectively in a diverse educational environment.
