About the Role: Our client is seeking an Analyst for Risk Management and Accounts Payable to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will manage all aspects of accounts payable processes and support risk management functions. Responsibilities: Accounts Payable Process Management:
Handle all accounts payable functions, including electronic approval processes and invoice coding.
Enter approved invoices into the accounting system and generate weekly checks and ACH runs.
Prepare wire/ACH requests and assist with vendor and ACH payment setups.
Respond to vendor inquiries and reconcile account discrepancies.
Review travel and expense reports for compliance with company policies.
Assist with month-end closing and resolution of unclaimed checks.
Other A/P Related Activities:
Prepare A/P-related documents for financial statement packages.
Reconcile American Express credit card activity against T&E reports.
Handle mail pick-up and cash receipts for remote deposit.
Formula Based Contract Audits/Reviews:
Review and confirm the accuracy of formula-based pricing calculations.
Summarize findings for department leads and CEO presentations.
Distributor Financial Reviews:
Conduct financial and operational assessments of distribution companies.
Review financial statements and identify potential risks.
Prepare and circulate summary reports to key stakeholders.
Annual DC Operational Performance Questionnaire Summaries:
Review and update operational performance questionnaires.
Enter questionnaire responses into scorecard worksheets.
Present summary results to department leads and board committee meetings.
Other:
Prepare journal entries and reports for month-end close.
Document retention and maintenance.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
Minimum two to four years of accounting or finance experience.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Detail-oriented and able to maintain confidentiality.
