About the Job:
The Supply Chain Financial Risk Manager is responsible for assessing the financial health of all distributors and key/significant suppliers to determine any potential operational and financial risks to the system, formally document financial/operational reviews and recommendations, assist the management team in developing and documenting contingency action plans for high-risk Distributors and Suppliers, report results to the Board Audit & Finance Committee. This position is also responsible for conducting Supplier formula-based contract reviews on a rotation basis. In addition, this position will conduct ad hoc financial and operational audits as requested by Senior Management and/or the Board.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct periodic risk-based assessments of supplier financial health.
  • Collaborate with various departments to identify high-risk suppliers.
  • Perform thorough financial reviews, including analysis of financial statements and debt covenants.
  • Coordinate calls with supplier finance teams and senior management.
  • Conduct detailed financial and operational assessments of distribution companies.
  • Review formula-based contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in annual fiscal year-end reviews and insurance submissions.
  • Maintain databases of key performance indicators for trading partners.
  • Manage monthly Supply Chain Risk Management Committee meetings.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA or Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience, preferably in public accounting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and supervisory skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
