Middle School Science Teacher
Salary: $54,000 DOE
Location: Palmetto, Florida
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Middle School Science Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and standards-based science instruction to students in grades 6–8. This includes creating lesson plans, conducting lab experiments, assessing student performance, and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages scientific curiosity and critical thinking.
Responsibilities:
Plan and implement dynamic lessons aligned with state standards in Earth, Life, and Physical Science.
Create hands-on learning experiences through experiments and lab activities.
Evaluate and monitor student progress through assignments, tests, and projects.
Collaborate with fellow educators and participate in school events and professional development.
Maintain classroom discipline and a safe learning environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Science Education or related field (Master’s preferred).
Valid teaching certification for middle school science.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Passion for inspiring young learners to explore scientific concepts.
