Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Elementary Teacher to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, standards-aligned lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students. You will work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support the overall academic and social-emotional development of our elementary school students.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that align with state and national standards
- Differentiate instruction to meet the unique learning needs of each student
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support their academic growth
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, specialists, and administrators to ensure a cohesive educational experience
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, such as attendance, grades, and progress reports
- Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching practices
- Foster a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student success
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field
- Valid state teaching certification or license
- Minimum 4 years of experience teaching in an elementary school setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain student engagement
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools
Working Conditions
This is a full-time, salaried position based at our Miami Lakes campus. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:10PM , with occasional evening or weekend events. The work environment is a well-equipped, modern classroom setting with access to necessary educational resources and technology. Some light physical demands, such as standing for extended periods, may be required.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 to $55,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan contributions, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
