We are looking for a Cruise Service Category Manager to take the helm of local supplier sourcing, category planning, and promotional strategies to enhance onboard retail performance. If you have a passion for strategic sourcing, negotiation, and driving commercial success, this role is for you!
What You’ll Do:
? Sourcing & Supplier Management – Identify and negotiate with local suppliers to optimize sourcing, ensuring high-quality products and strong profit margins.
? Sales & Promotions – Plan and coordinate promotions with the Cruise Services Marketing team to drive revenue and guest engagement.
? Category Strategy & Optimization – Develop and implement a sourcing strategy aligned with business goals, ensuring seamless execution.
? Performance Analysis – Track sales, margins, and inventory levels while implementing action plans to enhance product performance.
? Contract & Compliance Management – Ensure supplier contracts comply with company policies and governmental regulations.
? Advertising & Promotions – Manage advertising income and promotional activities with local suppliers to maximize brand visibility.
? Stock Management – Organize the liquidation of discontinued items and optimize inventory for efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
✔️ Retail & Category Management Expertise – Experience in category management, merchandising, or retail environment.
Jewelry and/or Perfume is Highly preferred
✔️ Negotiation & Communication Skills – Ability to negotiate contracts, build strong supplier relationships, and drive business growth.
✔️ Data-Driven Decision Making – Strong analytical skills to evaluate sales trends and make informed recommendations.
✔️ Experience in Cruise, Travel Retail, or Hospitality – Preferred but not required.
✔️ Results-Oriented – Ability to set and achieve targets in a fast-paced environment.
