About the Role:
As the Counter Sales Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing our HVAC wholesale counter operations, managing the sales team, and ensuring the smooth execution of day-to-day activities. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. You will also play a key role in developing sales strategies, training team members, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the counter sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operations.
- Oversee daily counter sales activities, including order processing, product inquiries, pricing, and returns, to meet customer needs promptly and accurately.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling HVAC units and parts.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute sales strategies, promotions, and initiatives to increase revenue and market share.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HVAC products, industry trends, and competitive offerings to stay ahead in the market.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
- Oversee inventory management and stock control, ensuring optimal levels of HVAC units and parts are available for customers.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for the sales team, providing constructive feedback and recognizing outstanding achievements.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and purchasing, to ensure a seamless and efficient workflow.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the HVAC industry or a related field.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a sales team to achieve targets.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC products, parts, and applications is highly desirable.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and sales management software.
- A proactive and result-driven approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, if required.
