Job Title: HVAC Counter Sales Representative
Location: Miami/Kendall
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM- Saturdays, 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
About the Opportunity
A well-established HVAC supply company located in Miami, FL is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused HVAC Counter Sales Representative. This role is perfect for someone with experience in HVAC distribution who enjoys working in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. You'll serve as the first point of contact for walk-in customers, providing product expertise and processing transactions with accuracy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist customers at the sales counter with professionalism and a positive attitude
Provide product knowledge, technical guidance, and recommendations on HVAC equipment and parts
Process sales transactions, create quotes, handle returns, and manage special orders
Coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly and on time
Maintain a clean and organized counter area and restock product displays as needed
Promote additional products and ongoing specials based on customer needs
Utilize POS systems to complete sales and manage inventory updates
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of HVAC counter sales experience is required
In-depth understanding of HVAC tools, equipment, and systems
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a high-traffic setting
Proficiency in using sales systems and basic computer programs
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods
