Commercial Real Estate Paralegal
Location: Miami, FL
A well-established law firm in Miami is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to support attorneys in a busy transactional practice. This role involves handling commercial real estate transactions from start to finish and working closely with internal teams and external clients.
Responsibilities
Manage the preparation and processing of commercial real estate transactions from inception through closing
Review contracts and related transaction documents
Perform detailed property and title research
Prepare closing documents and due diligence checklists
Prepare and review title commitments, title policies, and title objection letters
Assemble loan packages and closing binders
Prepare settlement statements, closing disclosures, and related documentation
Order and review surveys, inspections, and title reports
Examine title and identify potential issues
Track and manage deadlines throughout the transaction lifecycle
Coordinate disbursements and closing logistics
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal
Prior experience in a large law firm environment preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience using closing software and other legal support tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interact effectively with attorneys, staff, clients, and third parties
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
Ability to work both independently and within a team
Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
Ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines
