Key Responsibilities:
- Take the lead in managing complex commercial litigation cases, with a strong focus on construction-related disputes.
- Draft, review, and organize legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence.
- Coordinate discovery, including e-discovery processes, depositions, and case investigations.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research to support trial preparation and hearings.
- Collaborate closely with attorneys to prepare trial exhibits, presentations, and strategies.
- Serve as the point of contact for clients, witnesses, and expert consultants.
- Track important case deadlines and ensure timely filings in state and federal courts.
What You’ll Need:
- A minimum of 5+ years of commercial litigation paralegal experience, specifically within the construction industry.
- Flexibility to split time between the Wynwood/Miami office, Downtown Fort Lauderdale office, and work from home in a hybrid model.
- Expertise in managing large volumes of documents and discovery-related tasks.
- Proficiency in legal case management software and research tools.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple cases simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, attorneys, and third parties.
