Certified Medical Assistant – Local candidates only, in office position call center
Location: Coral Springs, FL
Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Position Overview:
Join a forward-thinking healthcare team in a remote patient monitoring role supporting individuals with diabetes. We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to deliver compassionate care and guidance virtually. Your primary responsibility will be to assist patients in effectively managing their diabetes through Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGMs) and personalized healthcare support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual assistance to healthcare professionals in delivering diabetes care.
- Collect patient histories and document in electronic health records.
- Educate patients on diabetes management, including medications, blood sugar monitoring, and lifestyle adjustments.
- Offer support and encouragement to patients managing type 2 diabetes.
- Coordinate appointments and maintain seamless communication between patients and healthcare providers.
- Stay current on advancements in diabetes management and technology.
- Ensure patient information is handled confidentially and adhere to privacy regulations.
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required.
- Completion of a recognized Medical Assistant training program.
- Experience with diabetes patients and CGMs is preferred.
- Familiarity with remote patient monitoring or virtual healthcare settings is a plus.
- Proficient in electronic health records and medical software.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
