A highly regarded national law firm is seeking a talented Finance Associate to join its Finance & Transactions group in one of its major offices: Chicago, New York, or Dallas. The team offers exposure to a wide variety of matters and supports attorneys who want to take on meaningful responsibility and engage directly with clients.
What You'll Do
Represent lenders and borrowers in sophisticated commercial finance transactions
Draft, review, and negotiate loan documentation
Manage transactions from origination through closing across multiple industries and deal types
Work closely with shareholders and participate in business development initiatives
Handle a high-volume practice with direct client interaction and mentorship
What We're Looking For
4–6 years of commercial finance experience at a law firm
Strong knowledge of loan documentation and transaction structuring
Ability to manage multiple matters and workstreams simultaneously
J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
Bar admission (or pending admission) in the relevant jurisdiction: Illinois, New York, or Texas
