About the Role: 

This role will develop and oversee all team members and the strategies of the sales department while developing key growth sales strategies, tactics, and action plans. Will also be responsible for overseeing all sales department functions including planning, optimizing, implementing, and analyzing sales strategies activities. 

 

Responsibilities include: 

 

  • Executes the planning and strategies of the sales operations and delivers revenue, margin, and net profitability goals.
  • Develops and implements sales tactics to enhance customer accounts, acquire new clients and market influencers, and achieve revenue and marketing growth objectives.
  • Creates new approaches to problems or innovations to establish best practices optimizing processes with the objective to improve revenue.
  • Manages sales forecast, pipeline, and revenue expectations; monitors KPIs for analysis and predictability of the sales business.
  • Reports sales KPIs to Subsidiary Director and follows Subsidiary Director directions.
  • Defines budget and goals along with Subsidiary Director. Generates sales reports and other reports as required by management.
  • Supports and assists in the development of Country annual plans and strategies and of the quarterly strategies reviews.
  • Formulates and completes rebate agreements and sales proposals for customers.
  • Conducts revisions and approvals of all corresponding sales promotions and oversees clients’ conditions.
  • Develops independent agents’ conditions and agreements.
  • Drives continued innovation and best practice implementation, regularly sharing knowledge with the sales team and other company executives.
  • Actively supports and builds relationships with all departments and external entities.
  • Drives the department strategies with a leadership approach of developing, coaching, and mentoring all team members.
  • Hires sales members for the department in conjunction with HR guidance, company policies and best practices.
  • Develops training and development programs for the sales team and their optimal performance. 
  • Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive following HR guidance and company policies.
  • Handles disciplinary actions and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with HR guidance and company policy.
  • Establishes structures and processes to ensure teamwork, collaboration, effective communication, and administrative procedures that are aligned with the business need.

 

 

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or similar required, Master’s Degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of Sales experience is required and preferably in a related industry.
  • Previous experience of 5 years managing a sales team or related experience required.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Strong decision-maker and leadership capabilities are a must.
