Title: Associate Attorney (Insurance Defense)

A fast-paced, AV-rated litigation firm based in Miami, Florida, is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Associate Attorney with 1+ years of experience in the Defense Base Act (DBA), workers’ compensation, or insurance defense. What You’ll Do:
Manage a dynamic caseload in workers’ compensation and related defense matters from start to finish.
Represent clients in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
Draft persuasive motions, pleadings, discovery responses, and detailed case reports.
Partner with clients, experts, and opposing counsel to strategize and execute effective case plans.
Maintain strong, proactive communication with clients and firm leadership.
What You Bring:
Minimum 1 year of litigation experience in workers’ compensation, Defense Base Act, or insurance defense.
Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
Ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines with confidence and precision.
A proactive mindset, team-oriented attitude, and strong ethical standards.
Must be licensed to practice law in the United States.
