Associate – Finance & Transactions

Full-Time | Hybrid Schedule (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)
The Opportunity:
A highly regarded Finance & Transactions team in Chicago is seeking a Finance Associate with 3–6 years of experience. Key Responsibilities:
Draft and negotiate commercial loan and finance documents
Oversee loan closings and manage the full lifecycle of finance transactions
Coordinate with clients, lenders, and counterparties to facilitate deal execution
Juggle multiple complex matters across industries and jurisdictions
Engage in client-facing responsibilities and business development efforts
Main Requirements:
3–6 years of experience in commercial finance at a law firm
Strong drafting skills and ability to manage deal flow and client communications
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines
J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
Admitted to the Illinois Bar or in the process of admission

Compensation:
$260,000 – $320,000 annual base salary, based on experience and class year
