Key Responsibilities
• Handle daily postings while maintaining impeccable accuracy.
• Monitor receivables aging, initiate collections, and reconcile client issues.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, manage related journal entries, and ensure financial accuracy.
• Verify and audit retail sales transactions, ensuring correct application of payments.
• Prepare and distribute statements, resolve discrepancies, and partner with overseas teams.
• Conduct weekly bank balance assessments and transfers.
• Assist with internal/external audits, support monthly/quarterly closings, and uphold internal controls.
• Participate in special assignments to optimize accounting and finance processes.
What We’re Looking For
o Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; OR
o High School Diploma plus 5+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Receivable roles.
Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets, formulas) and Word.
o Working knowledge of Oracle/SAP and Chrome River is a plus.
o Familiarity with GAAP and corporate finance principles.
• Detail-Oriented & Organized: Strong math skills, unwavering attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize effectively under tight deadlines.
• Confidentiality & Ethics: Discretion in handling sensitive financial information and upholding high ethical standards.
• Communication Skills: Fluent in English with clear written and verbal communication; Spanish and/or French proficiency a plus.
