Budget Analyst – Hybrid Role with Impact & Flexibility


Location: Pembroke Pines, FL | Salary: $65,000 – $85,000 | Full-Time | Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

You’ll be joining a team that values collaboration, accountability, and creative problem-solving, where your expertise in government finance, accounting methods, and budget analysis will be recognized and rewarded.


What You’ll Do


  • Perform government and department budget analysis, reviewing and monitoring allocations and expenditures.
  • Implement and track department budgets to ensure compliance and effective use of resources.
  • Conduct financial analysis, policy review, and budget reporting for senior leadership.
  • Provide support to department staff on budget systems, financial reporting, and automated tools.
  • Assist in forecasting, trend analysis, and expenditure controls.
  • Prepare reports and presentations that inform decision-making.
  • Apply your expertise in finance, accounting, and government budgeting to improve operational efficiency.


What You Bring


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Public Administration, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience implementing and monitoring department budgets, preferably in local government, public sector, or related finance roles.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, accounting, and financial practices, with prior exposure to government finance policies.
  • Experience with ERP or financial software (Lawson/Infor, Hyperion, or similar preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License.
  • Flexible schedule — including occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays.
