Regional Head of Internal Audit – LATAM

About the Role
Join a global leader as the Regional Head of Internal Audit for LATAM, where you’ll oversee and elevate the internal audit function across the region. This strategic leadership role is designed for someone who thrives in driving strong internal controls, ensuring compliance, and enhancing operational efficiency—while working closely with senior leaders.
What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end audit engagements — from planning through follow-up
- Deliver timely, relevant, and high-quality audits and advisory projects
- Develop a risk-based annual audit plan aligned with business needs
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management
- Drive implementation of corrective actions across business units
- Recruit, mentor, and retain top audit talent across the LATAM region
- Collaborate with external auditors and global control initiatives
- Continuously improve audit processes and methodologies
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, laws, and regulations
- Establish and maintain a robust quality assurance program
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field
- 7–9 years of internal audit experience, with proven team leadership
- Master’s degree or CIA certification is a plus
- Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks and risk assessment
- Industry experience in retail or food & beverage is highly desirable
- Exposure to fraud investigations and digital audit tools (e.g., AuditBoard)
- Ability to work independently and engage confidently with executives
