Certified School Teacher (5th Grade - Math & Science)
Location: Boynton Beach, FL
Full-Time Position | 2024-2025 School Year
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Certified School Teachers for K-5 classrooms, specializing in Math and Science, to join a dynamic educational team. The role involves inspiring young minds, fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment, and helping students develop strong academic foundations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality educational instruction using effective methodologies tailored to individual student needs.
- Administer research-based assessments to measure student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback, offering reteaching when necessary to ensure mastery of key concepts.
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, and fellow educators to support student achievement and growth.
- Implement curriculum plans and adapt instruction to accommodate students’ diverse learning needs.
- Utilize positive classroom management strategies, promoting a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Guide students in developing positive moral and performance character traits.
- Maintain clear communication and perform administrative tasks, including report writing and student progress documentation.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Certification: Valid Florida teaching certification or Statement of Eligibility.
Experience: 1 to 3 years of pre-service teaching experience required.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Effective organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Knowledge of learning styles, teaching theory, and applicable state and federal education regulations.
- Proficiency in classroom technology and relevant software (e.g., word processing, databases, spreadsheets).
