Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 3rd Grade Teacher to join our vibrant elementary school community in North Manatee, Florida. You will be responsible for creating a nurturing, inclusive, and academically stimulating environment that inspires students to achieve their full potential. This role requires strong classroom management, effective instructional strategies, and a commitment to fostering both social and academic growth in students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver dynamic and engaging lessons that align with state standards and cater to diverse learning needs.
- Use differentiated instruction techniques to meet the varied needs of students, including those with special needs or learning challenges.
- Foster a positive, structured, and supportive classroom culture where students feel valued and motivated to learn.
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and families to create a holistic and supportive educational experience.
- Regularly assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations and use data to inform instructional decisions.
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement and conflict resolution strategies.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with teaching best practices and educational trends.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field.
- Florida teaching certification for 3rd grade or statement of eligibility
- Prior experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably in a 3rd grade classroom.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to implement technology in the classroom to enhance learning.
