About the Position
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 3rd Grade General Studies Teacher to join our team in North Miami Beach, Florida. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about elementary education, skilled at creating engaging learning environments, and committed to supporting students’ academic and personal growth.
This role involves teaching core elementary subjects including reading, writing, math, science, and social studies while fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging daily lessons aligned with Florida state standards
Teach core subjects including reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies
Create a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment
Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs
Assess student progress and maintain accurate academic records
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress
Collaborate with faculty and staff on curriculum planning and school initiatives
Integrate technology and creative teaching methods into daily lessons
Maintain classroom management and promote respectful student behavior
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field
Florida Teaching Certification (Elementary Education preferred) or eligibility to obtain certification
Previous experience teaching elementary school students preferred
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Ability to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Commitment to student success and professional growth
Experience in elementary classroom teaching (3rd grade)
