Job Description
About: AV-Rated litigation firm in the Dadeland area seeking an associate attorney with 3-5 years of experience with insurance defense geared towards auto, slip, fall, and general negligence cases. Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provides legal advice and representation to our Carriers
- Prepares and files briefs, motions, and other necessary judicial pleadings
- Deposes witnesses and further facilitates the discovery process
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Admission to the Florida bar and in good standing
- Experience in litigation in general liability, premises, and insurance defense
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
