About: AV-Rated litigation firm in the Dadeland area seeking an associate attorney with 3-5 years of experience with insurance defense geared towards auto, slip, fall, and general negligence cases. Duties/Responsibilities:
Provides legal advice and representation to our Carriers
Prepares and files briefs, motions, and other necessary judicial pleadings
Deposes witnesses and further facilitates the discovery process
Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
Admission to the Florida bar and in good standing
Experience in litigation in general liability, premises, and insurance defense
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
