Regulatory Affairs Specialist - Fragrance Industry

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

We’re looking for a Regulatory Affairs Specialist with fragrance regulatory experience to join our team in the northern Fort Lauderdale area. What You'll Do:
  • Lead the prioritization and processing of regulatory information requests, ensuring compliance for internal teams (production, sales, perfumers) and global clients.
  • Use your fragrance regulatory expertise to evaluate products for compliance with international regulations, legislative standards, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Generate key regulatory documents such as Safety Data Sheets, Certificates of Analysis, and IFRA Certifications using advanced Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.
  • Ensure fragrance formulations meet regulatory standards across various jurisdictions, providing accurate and timely technical responses.
  • Collaborate on innovative regulatory and technical projects, driving compliance excellence.

What You Bring:
  • Fragrance regulatory experience is a must, with a deep understanding of regulations impacting the fragrance industry.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in regulatory compliance evaluations and documentation.
  • Proficiency in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software to manage compliance tasks seamlessly.
  • Basic understanding of chemical structures and regulatory terminology, with the ability to translate complex details into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a strong sense of teamwork.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a science field (Biology, Chemistry, or related) is required, with a solid grasp of fragrance ingredients and applicable regulations.
  • Minimum of 3 years of regulatory affairs experience, specifically within the fragrance or consumer goods industry.
  • Fluency in English; Spanish or French is a plus!
