Position: Human Resources Assistant

About the Role:
As a Human Resources Assistant, you'll be at the heart of our onboarding process, ensuring new hires transition smoothly into our organization. You'll handle pre-employment screenings, collect essential documents, and input new hire information into our HRIS/UKG system. Your role will be pivotal in supporting various administrative tasks that keep our HR department running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet with new hires to gather necessary documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines within 3-5 business days.
  • Drive the onboarding process to completion within 21 days by actively monitoring progress, communicating with new hires, and updating their status in our HRIS/UKG system.
  • Enter new hire information into our HRIS/UKG/Payroll system daily, ensuring accuracy and meeting biweekly payroll deadlines.
  • Process background checks and analyze results to ensure compliance with our company's policies.
  • Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external customers, assisting with day-to-day HR operations and serving as backup for other HR roles as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of staff information and ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Complete employment verifications and perform other duties as assigned to support our HR team.
