Job Description
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Building Superintendent to join our team at a prestigious commercial building in Miami. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience, excellent communication skills, and a technical background in building maintenance. Work Hours:
Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm (flexible start time; option to start at 8:00 am)
Responsibilities: As the Building Superintendent, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance of the physical plant and building systems. Key responsibilities include:
Continually evaluate all building systems to ensure they are in good working order.
Monitoring supply inventories and coordinating orders as needed.
Conducting daily inspections of the building, prioritizing safety, cleanliness, and maintenance tasks.
Responding to and managing all work orders promptly and efficiently.
Communicating effectively with tenants to address any concerns or maintenance needs.
Requirements:
Minimum of five years experience in building maintenance.
Hands-on experience with HVAC, boiler plant operation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Previous experience in commercial office buildings of 100,000 square feet or more.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
