Join a leading IT solutions company in Orlando as a Box Truck Driver. In this crucial role, you will operate a 26-foot box truck to ensure timely and safe delivery of goods across North, South, and Central Florida. If you have a strong driving record, excel in a fast-paced environment, and are experienced in handling large vehicles, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery Operations: Safely operate a 26-foot box truck to transport goods, making multiple stops throughout North, South, and Central Florida.
- Route Management: Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on the 26-foot truck.
- Customer Interaction: Provide excellent service and communication with clients during deliveries.
- Loading and Unloading: Handle the loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring secure placement and safety.
- Warehouse Support: On days when shipments are delayed or driving is not required, assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, order processing, and other operational support.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience driving box trucks or similar large vehicles.
- Safety: Strong safety record and adherence to traffic laws.
- Customer Service: Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed.
- Flexibility: Willingness to support warehouse operations on days without driving.
- Location: Must be able to commute to Orlando, FL.
Schedule Options:
- Start Times: Shifts typically start between 3:30 AM and 6:00 AM, Monday through Friday.
Experience:
- Previous experience driving 26-foot box trucks or similar commercial vehicles (2 years preferred).
Additional Information:
- This position does not require a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
