Associate Attorney (Insurance Defense)
Location: Kendall/Dadeland Area, FL
Job Type: Full-Time
Overview:
An AV-Rated litigation firm in the Kendall/Dadeland area is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in insurance defense, specifically in auto, slip and fall, and general negligence cases. Join our dynamic team and take the next step in your legal career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Legal Representation: Provide expert legal advice and representation to our carriers in various insurance defense cases.
- Judicial Proceedings: Prepare and file briefs, motions, and other judicial pleadings.
- Discovery Process: Conduct depositions and facilitate all aspects of the discovery process.
- Additional Duties: Perform other related legal duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Florida Bar Admission: Must be admitted and in good standing.
- Litigation Experience: Strong background in general liability, premises, and insurance defense.
- Time Management: Excellent ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- High-Paced Environment: Ability to thrive in a high-paced and occasionally stressful environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related legal software.
