Our Global client manages multinational, wholesale and roaming businesses and delivers integrated fixed, mobile and IT services to some of the world's top multinationals and corporations. It also provides global telecommunication services for fixed and mobile carriers, ISP's and content providers. 


About the Role:

The Compliance Analyst will take responsibility for the following:  

  • Ensure that the company meets all its tax and regulatory obligations in countries where it has all licenses, permits or authorizations to provide telecommunications services
  • Ensure that company services and businesses are developed, marketed and operated in accordance with the regulatory requirements required, minimizing the associated risks
  • Advise all areas and legal entities of the company on issues related to Regulation of the Universal Service Fund:
    • Analysis, review, and standardization of the Universal Service Fund in the United States and Puerto Rico at the federal and local levels.
    • Periodic management and coordination of the Universal Service Fund in the United States and Puerto Rico at the federal and local levels
  • Support to the management of the Budget of the Regulation area that covers the payment of regulatory taxes (General Operator Fee, Universal Service, and spectrum/numbering rates) and local regulatory studies
  • Support for coordination and response to the information requirements of the Regulators on income in the countries where the company is licensed
  • A regulatory framework from the tax regulatory point of view
  • Status of compliance with the regulatory tax obligations of the company
  • Current compliance of the Universal Service Fund according to the obligations of the company and its affiliates 



Job Requirements

  • Professional in Economics or Law, ideally with postgraduate training in subjects associated with market regulation and telecommunications regulation
  • Knowledge of the telecommunications sector and the digital ecosystem
  • 3 years of experience in tax law or similar positions
  • Strategic and commercial vision
  • Knowledge of the telecommunications sector and the digital ecosystem
  • Capacity for personal interrelation, generation of a pleasant working atmosphere in multicultural environments
  • Ability to plan and focus on objectives: effective management of working time
  • Ability to work independently and on their own initiative, assuming responsibility, with full autonomy
